Rise Above is a team of highly skilled tutors dedicated to providing superior in-home tutoring for students Kindergarten through 12th grade living in Central and South Orange County.  We are committed to working closely with students and their families to provide individualized one-on-one tutoring instruction that helps each student achieve his or her academic goals.

With a team of qualified and experienced tutors, we strive to make a difference in each child's life.  We believe every child has the ability to learn, excel, and be successful when given the proper tools.  Our tutors use a variety of teaching methods tailored around specific learning styles to excite each student about the learning process and instill in them a sense of confidence that will foster intellectual and personal development and ensure academic success.   In order to achieve academic success, school curriculum and textbooks are utilized and, with parental permission, our tutors will talk with each student's teacher to gain insight into how to best meet their academic goals.

Rise Above does not require any assessment tests or contracts.   To help you make an informed decision about your student's tutoring opportunities, we offer a complimentary in-home consultation which gives us an opportunity to meet you and your child and discuss his or her academic requirements, needs, personalities, interests, preferences, and learning style.  The consultation also gives you the opportunity to show us the curriculum your child is using and discuss your goals for the tutoring sessions.  This consultation better equips us to match your child with the tutor who is best qualified to meet your child's specific academic needs.
